1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using MediScript.ai ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

MediScript.ai provides AI-powered medical transcription software consisting of:

• A web application for account management and license administration
• A desktop application for offline medical transcription and documentation

All transcription and AI processing occurs locally on your device. We do not process, store, or have access to any patient data.

3. Data Processing and Privacy

Local Processing Only: All audio recordings, transcriptions, and medical notes are processed exclusively on your local computer. MediScript.ai servers only handle:

• Account information (name, email, clinic name)
• License validation
• Subscription management
• Support tickets

Your Data, Your Control: You retain full ownership and control of all medical data processed through the desktop application. We have no access to, visibility of, or control over this data.

4. GDPR Compliance

Our service is designed for complete GDPR compliance:

• No patient data is transmitted to or stored on our servers
• You maintain full data sovereignty
• All processing happens within your local infrastructure
• Account data is stored on servers in Switzerland

5. License and Usage

Upon subscription, you receive a license to use MediScript.ai software. This license:

• Is valid for the duration of your subscription
• Allows installation on one primary workstation
• Includes all updates during your subscription period
• Requires internet connection every 14 days for validation

6. Medical Disclaimer

Not a Medical Device: MediScript.ai is a documentation aid and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. It should not replace professional medical judgment. Always review and verify all generated documentation before inclusion in patient records.

7. Subscription and Payment

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Prices are in EUR and exclude VAT where applicable. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the customer portal. No refunds are provided for partial months.

8. Support

Support response times depend on your subscription tier:

• Premium Plan: 4-hour response time during business hours
• Basic Plan: 48-hour response time

9. Limitation of Liability

MediScript.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the last 12 months.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
